SUGAR

Just like there are many different varieties of

Sugar grown, the best is always that type most

relevant to the environment it is planted in. The

Gospel (Christ’s death and resurrection, and the

gift of the Holy Spirit) is of first importance -  the

core of what we are about. We will look to plant

this seed of the gospel in the soil of many

different cultures/groups. Sugar Reef is and will

be made up of the many different communities

that grow organically from this process.

 

REEF

 

The reef is the largest living organism on the planet. However,

it is made up of a diverse range of individuals that come

together to form something greater than any one of them

could accomplish by themselves. In fact the reefs diversity

of organisms is one of its greatest strengths. We choose to

journey together and as we individually bring the gifts that

God has given, we become part of something much greater

that we could ever dream.  Our strengths are found in our

diversity through authentic relationship. Relationships that

are not just focused inward on Sugar Reef, but also outward

on the wider community and incorporate all aspects of true

love: truth, justice and grace.
